Art Marketing Tip of the Day #2

Of course, you have a website and blog, Facebook and Twitter. Your resume/CV is on hand and you have taken photographs of your artwork. Great! Now what’s missing?

By doing so, the viewer can see the individual’s interest, expertise, and passion. This aids in building rapport with members of the media because being able to look a person in the face and seeing how they act and communicate can’t be equaled in writing.

It will draw in both clients and press, as it gives your audience a real insight into who you are.

Case Study: Street Artist Jimmy C

This artist has made several videos, sometimes just with music in the background, showing his art, other times him speaking…I have seen people on his fan page react very well to it indeed! Remember, your videos don’t need to be long!
